Digital Learning Round Table

16 Dec 2014
Brussels, Belgium

Why a Digital Learning Round Table?

Europe is at a crossroads regarding the rapid development of knowledge-based digital economy and society. Digital learning is an integral part of that development, strongly supported by the European Commission.

The Digital Learning Round Table is the first of its kind in the H2020 context. We are looking for a lively debate and concrete suggestions on how to advance digital learning in Europe, in particular through the Horizon 2020 programme and its funding instruments.

The debate will capitalise on past R&I investments in technology-enhanced learning – € 185 mio in 2008-2013 – and on the supporting policy initiatives like the Opening Up Education Communication[1].

For whom?

This is an interactive, open and participatory event. The participants consist of Firestarters, invited panelists, and delegates representing a mix of European researchers, innovators, industry and other stakeholders active in digital learning in Europe.

Jean Monnet building, Luxembourg (registration from 8.30 a.m. / event from 9.30 a.m. until 4.p.m.). Webstreaming will also be available.
